The British & International Franchise Exhibition, taking place at Olympia in London on Friday 4 & Saturday 5 April 2008, is the ideal place to find inspiration and hundreds of superb proven business ideas and opportunities from around the world.
The exhibition, held in association with the British Franchise Association (bfa) and supported by Business Franchise and Franchise World, is a ‘must attend' event for any entrepreneurs either looking to expand an existing business empire or just wanting to work for themselves for the first time.
From management consultancy and recruitment to food and drink, health and fitness, cleaning companies and automotive repairs, the choice of franchises available at the exhibition is huge, giving visitors the perfect opportunity to find the business that is the ideal match for their interests and skills.
Featuring leading UK and international exhibitors, there is a vast array of franchise options suitable for all budgets, interests and skills. Exhibitors include Snappy Snaps, Your Move, Thorntons, Signs Express, Northwood, Go Cruise, Coffee Republic, Dream Doors, Chipsaway, Canas y Tapas, RockMasters, Travel Counsellors and Medics on the Move plus many more.
The British & International Franchise Exhibition includes a unique International Pavilion and conference featuring an extensive range of global franchise opportunities offering numerous global franchising ideas, all looking to expand into the UK.
The bfa will also be running a series of free seminars throughout the event. These presentations will feature a number of high-profile speakers from across the UK franchise industry, who will advise on all of the issues involved with running a franchised business. They include ‘An introduction to franchising' - and ‘How to franchise your business.'
The exhibition will also include the Find Your Franchise Zone, a feature designed specifically to help visitors find their way around the exhibition and the franchises present by providing a bespoke route plan tailored to their individual requirements.
The Women in Franchising Zone will also return to the exhibition this year. It will feature leading female entrepreneurs who will offer advice and guidance through a series of free seminars to those women visitors looking to start their own franchise ventures. Addressing the Zone this year will be Linda Westall and Angela Ward from ‘Women on Top', a company who offer a new alternative to traditional business networking, through interactive events. Linda and Angela will be speaking on such issues as: ‘what it takes to be a success business owner', ‘how to build a stable platform to grow your business' and ‘how to turn challenges to your advantage in business', as well as the reasons behind why they looked to franchising to grow their business.
New to the exhibition this year will be The Franchise Forum. This interactive forum, taking place on both days of the event, will provide the perfect fact-finding and networking opportunity for prospective franchisees. Sessions are free to attend, simply arrive five minutes before it is due to start to secure your seat.
The British & International Franchise Exhibition and Growing Your Own Business Exhibition & Conference are open from 10am each day, closing at 5pm on Friday 4 April and 4pm on Saturday 5 April.
