Papa John's Success Continues to Build
The pizza company had already outlined its dynamic development plans for 2008, and is well on track after opening six in three months.New Papa John’s stores have sprung up in Haringey, Morden and Worcester Park as well as express outlets in Haven holiday parks in Devon, East Sussex and Yorkshire.
Alan Mason, director of property and franchising, said: We have had a great start to the year, now we need to keep that momentum as we look to open eight more stores in quarter two and deliver on our commitment of 25 new stores in 2008.
“As we continue to grow we create a strong demand for new locations and sites, which are suitable for Papa John’s stores. Therefore, we have appointed Colliers CRE as our national retained agents to aid this search as we look to expand across the UK.”
Papa John’s is specifically looking to open sites in Manchester & M62 corridor, Leeds, Birmingham, Oxford, London inside the M25, Cambridge, Chester, Newcastle, Bristol, Cheltenham.
Sites should have A5 planning and be around 850 to 1000 square feet. Primarily, sites should be located in areas such as retail parades in neighbourhood centres and high streets, and have at least 25,000 households within an eight minute driving time.
