The company, which currently has 660 centres located in nine countries worldwide, officially opened the Maidstone centre, located on the Integra Business Park, with a grand ceremony on Thursday 18 May 2017.
Muhannad Ziyadah, the owner of the newest Fastsigns store, was joined by the mayor of Maidstone, councillor Derek Butler, and Fastsigns managing director John Davies to cut the ribbon on the new business.
In the run up to the Maidstone centre opening Muhannad undertook four weeks of intensive training to learn how to create signage and understand the Fastsigns business model. The training took place at the dedicated facility in Dallas, Texas, where he experienced comprehensive training in production, business, sales and how to successfully run his centre. Upon his return to the UK he spent a week with his network support mentor Mark Phelps at the Fastsigns centre in Kingston, where he gained practical knowledge of the machinery and day-to-day life in the centre.
For his final week of training, Muhannad worked with his dedicated business consultants in Fastsigns Maidstone to ensure implementation of the correct procedures.
Following his investment of over £150,000 for the setup of the centre and the purchase of high-end machinery, such as an Epson S60 printer and a Mimaki Graphtec Plotter, Muhannad and his newly appointed team are ready to provide signage, graphics and visual communications to businesses in the Maidstone area.
