Never a better time to join the quality home care sector

Right at Home has spoken out to reassure its clients, staff and potential business owners following news reports that a rising minimum wage will have a negative impact on the care sector.
Managing director Ken Deary said: “As a quality care provider, Right at Home operates largely in the private market and our CareGivers have always benefited from a pay structure that begins significantly higher than the minimum wage.
“While we are working with our UK Home Care Association partners to find solutions for the funding pressures faced by Social Services care providers, there has actually never been a better time to work in the quality care market.

Right at Home provides care services to clients who receive Social Services funding through the Direct Payment scheme, which allows people to manage their own funding budget and choose their own care provider. This option is open to everyone and allows a wider choice of care provision by topping up the hourly rate paid by the local authority.
