Auditel innovates with new training programme
Published: 18 February 2016
Auditel, the cost-management franchise, has revealed a new training programme for its franchise owners. Its support team has been working for the past 18 months to build a new Business Educational Events programme.
There has been a big uptake, with 96 franchisees having already completed the course. What’s more, is has proven to be very popular and successful so far and franchisees are engaging clients using new educational techniques.
Franchisees have seen great results from the first event held. Auditel franchisees had 25 delegates attending with 17 of those becoming warm leads. Seven of those leads agreed on the day to work with Auditel and one client has already signed up.
Day one of the two-day programme consists of ‘How to plan, market, deliver and follow up on an educational event’. This workshop is for franchisees that are new to running business. Franchisees are provided with all the collateral and documents they need, creating a complete turnkey package.
Day two is based around presentation skills training. This day teaches franchisees how to deliver presentations that reap results.
“We have spent the last 18 months planning and building this element of our training to help franchisees how to plan, market, deliver and follow up on an educational event. Franchisees must be able to organise their presentation and grab their delegates’ attention through interesting content, body language and vocal tones.
“We help franchisees to educate their delegates about strategic cost management but they must also be able to win business from the events, we recognise this and have tailored our training to provide everything our franchisees need,” explains Matt Sidwell, network development director of Auditel.
“During the workshop programme, I learned a lot of the basics and the main trick of the trade which is confidence! It was well worth the trip to attend the training,” said Rhys Brennan, Auditel franchisee since 2011.
“Great session – you can teach an old dog new tricks,” said Andy Clark, an Auditel franchisee since 2015.
“I learnt more new things than I expected – very good,” said Miles Hosking, a franchisee since 2013.
Auditel assists and educates its clients to make smarter buying and management decisions, leading to business longevity and growth. Franchisees become invaluable, outsourced board-level members of the companies they serve.
