Oven Wizards franchisee sells store to a fellow business owner

Oven Wizards, the oven-cleaning service, has reported that one of their franchisees has successfully realised his investment by selling his business to another Oven Wizards franchisee.
Kevin Brown, former Oven Wizards Colchester franchisee, has sold his business to Ian Keddie, who already runs Oven Wizards in Dartford.
Kevin Brown stated: “I had been looking for a franchise for a long time and had seen many, but as soon as I met John Graham and Mark Abbott, directors of Oven Wizards, I knew this was the one I was looking for.
“It was a great business and both John and Mark were excellent with the information and help they gave. I had my business for four and a half years and in that time they gave me all the support I needed by either helping with any problems I had or leaving me to it if I wanted that.
“From the start it was very good investment and continued to grow year on year. It exceeded the expectations I had formed from what I thought I had been told by John. I sold my business for health reasons, as I could no longer clean ovens. The process of selling the business was made very easy for me as John took a major role in helping me. I am very pleased with the price I achieved on the sale, as it was three times the price of the franchise fee.
Ian Keddie said: “The reason I bought Kevin’s business was to help me expand my existing operation and to allow me to manage the business instead of working in it. It’s obviously easier taking an existing business over with somebody already working that area. The help I received from Mark was great and covered things that I had not thought of.”
John Graham, managing director at Oven Wizards, said: “Kevin has been a top franchisee and we have really enjoyed working with him to help him initially launch and grow his business, to the point he has now realised his investment with the sale.
“Ian has been with Oven Wizards for over 10 years and it’s great to be able to help him as he continues to grow his successful oven-cleaning business.”
