The bfa appoints Emily Price as new operations manager

Published: 04 April 2016

bfa - Emily Price

The British Franchise Association (bfa) has appointed Emily Price as its new operations manager, succeeding Pip Wilkins who takes on the role of chief executive on Wednesday 6 April.
Emily is promoted from her role as the bfa’s business development manager, a position she has held since summer 2013. During this time, she has grown the association’s membership, increased engagement with a broad range of businesses and developed numerous strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining the bfa, she managed a wide range of national and international projects with firms including Wickes and Barclaycard.
Pip Wilkins said: “It’s a pleasure to confirm Emily’s appointment after she stood out in a very strong field of candidates from within and outside franchising. She has already introduced some great initiatives and processes, bringing net growth to our membership base. I know she will continue to build on this success with new ideas to support our ongoing recruitment and retention plans.”
Emily said: “It is a particularly exciting time for the British Franchise Association, being led by a team that is passionate about the industry and keen to bring fresh ideas to its strategy. I am delighted to be appointed as the operations manager and look forward to implementing new initiatives and expanding services to members that add value and help the Association continue to grow.”
