Premier Sport targets international expansion

Premier Sport, the children’s coaching franchise, is looking for partners for international expansion. It is searching for both country master franchisors and regional developers who are keen to help nurture the next footballing stars of tomorrow.
Premier Sport is the UK’s largest children’s coaching company of its kind and delivers 20,000 events per month, predominately in the primary school sector. Each young person entrusted to the company’s care receives the highest quality coaching/instruction available.
Established in 1999, the company provides a wide range of fitness-orientated services to schools and communities throughout the UK. The company has well over 100 franchised territories in the UK and is now looking to expand overseas.
David Batch, CEO of Premier Sport, explained: “The health of children worldwide is on the agenda of every government as child obesity rates continue to rise. Increasingly parents are being forced to realise that it is essential that children switch off the TV or games console and take part in healthy alternatives, meaning a global boom for the children’s activity market.
“We are looking for master franchisors or regional developers who want to build a business bigger than our own, therefore they need to be from a business or franchise background, and be highly driven with a good knowledge of the education and sport markets.
