Optic-Kleer celebrates 25 years
Published: 10 June 2016

This June, Optic-Kleer will be celebrating 25 years in the windscreen stone-chip repair industry. Now one of the UK’s largest independent windscreen-repair only companies, with just under 40 franchises throughout the UK, it offers high quality repairs to private and corporate customers, and has a well-deserved reputation for excellence of customer service.
Since taking full control of the business in 2014, managing director, David Overton has taken the business from strength to strength. David explained: “2016 is a landmark year for us. We have been really busy increasing our presence in the UK. Our recruitment in the first half of this year is already 200 per cent up on last year after only five months. We are delighted to have been awarded Associate Member of the British Franchise Association (bfa), which re-enforces our strong commitment to ethical awarding and day-to-day running of our franchises. We have undergone a complete re-brand of our vehicles, website and other marketing material, which has made a powerful boost in our already well-established brand identity.”
Optic-Kleer has recently appointed Rebel:Media to manage and coordinate its marketing and promotional activities. David continued: “We have a host of promotions planned for the year, including, for the first time, exhibiting at the National Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham in October. We will be having both a stand and a vehicle showcase with live repair demonstrations throughout the two-day event.”
He concluded: “I am really proud of what we have achieved, particularly over the last 18 months. Credit must go to the whole team at Boston and our professional dedicated franchisees who have made such a difference to the industry over the past 25 years.”
