Mac Tools has welcomed four new franchisees to its network in October.
Former vehicle technician James Hill used Mac Tools products every day in his previous job.
He commented: “The support from Mac Tools is exceptional. I’m really enjoying my time covering the Louth area as the local Mac Tools man and I wish I had done this much sooner.
“No two days are the same and the reception from the customers has been great. I couldn’t have chosen a better business to be part of.”
Similarly, Michael Cook, who covers the Clevedon/Bristol area, began his career in the motorcycle industry, where he worked for seven and a half years.
Ready for a change in his working life, Michael commented: “I knew it was time for me to make the move to being my own boss and now I’m doing just that, selling the tools that I know so well from my time in the workshop.
“Mac Tools have proven to be just as great as a business to be involved with as the tools they supplied when I was a mechanic.”
Former mechanic Dec Kay is also familiar with Mac Tools products.
Dec, who will be covering Loughborough, said: “The Mac Tools quality is what attracted me to the franchise; access to the appropriate, safest and most technically up-to-date tools is what you need in the workplace and Mac always has them.
“The friendly and family-like approach that Mac Tools has with its franchise operation is really rewarding and work is no longer a chore now that I’m a Mac Man.”
Finally, with more than 20 years’ experience in the automotive industry, Trevor Cook is another former Mac Tools user.
“I was looking for an opportunity to work for myself for some time and I had a number of options available to me,” he said.
“Knowing that Mac Tools is growing in the UK at a fantastic rate, providing great products and superb customer service in combination with great support and personal development for franchisees, it was an easy decision to join the business.”
