Business Doctors to launch its first franchise in the Middle East

Business Doctors has announced it will launch its first franchise in the Middle Eastern territory of Dubai.

The branch, which will be run by businessman Muhannad I. Ziyadah, will be the first to open in the Middle East for the small- and medium-enterprise (SME) consultancy franchise.

Rod Davies, co-founder of Business Doctors, said: "When we met Muhannad, we knew right away that we had found our perfect advocate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

"His mix of experience within both family businesses and larger companies combined with a keen entrepreneurial drive means he has much to offer Dubai's burgeoning startup community."

An estimated 22,000 new SMEs launched in Dubai in 2015, an 18 per cent increase on the previous year, according to statistics from Dubai SME, part of the UAE’s Department of Economic Development.

Muhannad added: "When I discovered Business Doctors, I found a perfect fit for my skills and experience and was delighted that they felt the same way too.

"I am very much looking forward to launching their first Middle East franchise and bringing their unique brand of hands-on SME support to Dubai and beyond."

Business Doctors was formed in Cheshire in 2004 and now has over 30 territories across the UK. It launched its first international branch in South Africa in May 2014, followed by offices in India and Republic of Ireland in 2016.
