ERA celebrates double franchise renewal

Two Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) franchisees are celebrating after renewing their franchise agreements following 20 years in the business.

Ross McNaughton and Neil Cullen were two of ERA’s first franchise partners in the UK, and even took the same training course together in 1996. With the new franchise agreements, they have committed to another decade as ERA franchisees.

Both Ross and Neil confirmed they were confident with their decision to renew, citing the strength and skill within the current network, as well as the investment, support and innovation from ERA’s head office as important factors.

Ross said: “A huge factor in my decision to renew is the current set up of the business. From the team at head office to the frankly enormous wealth of skill, experience and feeling of camaraderie that exists amongst my fellow franchise partners in the network, the quality of people is the best we’ve ever had.

“Add to that the materials that head office produces now on things like marketing and technical info that we release to the market, it is light-years ahead. There’s a real focus on innovation and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

Now aged 67, Ross explained that he is continuing with his ERA franchise due to the work-life balance and financial rewards it brings.

Ross said: “I make a very good living and I have a great lifestyle – it really is possible to have both!

“There are real, tangible rewards of being successful: my wife and I have increased the overall value of the properties that we’ve lived in and it’s safe to say my net worth has increased quite dramatically.

“I’m looking forward to more of the same – not many people are lucky enough to say that, I imagine! I’m excited about taking on new projects and challenges and working with new people along the way.

“One thing’s for sure, this has never, and will never, feel like a nine-to-five job. You do your best and get the best rewards: financial stability and success, personal relationships and friendships.

“The business is equally as rewarding personally as it is financially – so one thing feeds the other. It’s been extremely enjoyable and I’ve never thought of leaving!”
