Kare Plus, the UK’s most established multi-service healthcare franchise, has reached the finals in two Midland’s Business Awards categories; Service Provider of the Year (£1m+) and Entrepreneur of the Year.
Already winning similar categories at this year’s Best Business Awards, Kare Plus was one of the highest scoring entrants in both categories following interviews with a panel of experts establishing the operations, growth and successes of the company - with a particular focus on contribution to the Midlands’ economy.
With a nationwide network of over 70 branches, Kare Plus’ healthcare service range includes specialist and non-specialist nursing, supported living services, critical care services, home care and more; all of which has been developed by CEO, Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and Black Country born-and-bred, Steve Welsh.
With significant growth during the last six years, Mr Welsh said:
“Starting out as a franchise owner, I have the benefit of knowing the support and planning that franchise owners require – which I think is a big part to our success.
Kare Plus being nominated for Service Provider of the Year is testament to the organisation’s multi-service offering and strong, bespoke compliance procedures that keep all franchise owners and customers safe. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award nomination is a bonus and great honour.
Looking ahead, I look forward to developing the Kare Plus service range even further and aiming to reach the next milestone of two million hours in the coming months and years.”
