VIP Bin Cleaning expands into Norway

VIP Bin Cleaning has awarded the master franchise licence for Norway to Joachim Martinsen and Petter Arntzen.

The friends, who will launch the new business in Oslo in April 2017, first contacted VIP Bin Cleaning in November 2016. After regular telephone conversations, they accepted VIP Bin Cleaning’s invitation for them to visit the UK in January 2017.

During this visit, Joachim and Petter met the VIP Bin Cleaning team, saw first-hand how the business operated, witnessed the design and manufacturing of the VIP Bin Cleaning machinery, and gained a good overall understanding of the company. The deal was agreed and the pair returned to the UK in March where they completed their initial training programme.

Petter comes from the entertainment and restaurant industry and was responsible for the hospitality sector at MESH, the first co-working space in Oslo. Joachim has worked for several years in the windscreen industry in Oslo, including in the recruiting and training of franchisees.

Joachim and Petter were both aware of the focus placed on environmental and recycling issues in Norway over the last couple of years. As a result, they realised bin cleaning would be become very important in the country; they discovered VIP Bin Cleaning after conducting research to see what other countries are doing.

The duo are confident of establishing their VIP Bin Cleaning franchise in Oslo and intend on building the brand throughout the rest of Norway.

VIP Bin Cleaning, which has committed to operating in an environmentally friendly manner for 20 years, has successfully launched its brand in 10 countries.
