AHS Franchise Partners, the franchise arm of Avant Healthcare Services, has awarded its first franchise.
The new franchise, which will cover Worcestershire, will be run by Melinda Bailey, who has a successful background in business and previously worked in sales for BT. Her new business has recently been successfully reviewed by the Care Quality Commission.
Melinda says: “I am excited to be starting up my Avant Healthcare Services business. I see it as the perfect opportunity for me to combine my passion for commercial achievement with providing excellent social care, something I feel very strongly about.
“I am determined that Avant Healthcare Services will have a reputation as the best domiciliary care provider in Worcestershire.”
Avant Healthcare Services provides social care, support and companionship services to customers in their own homes to enable them to live independent lives with dignity for as long as possible.
Franchisor Sally Graham founded Avant Healthcare Services in 2012 and then launched the franchise arm of the company in October 2015.
Sally, previously a franchisee herself, has over 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry, having run a multiple-territory national health care franchise with her father, before selling it back to the franchisor in 2010. At the point of sale, their franchise was turning over in excess of £12million a year across nine territories.
