Our stores are getting involved in all sorts of community activity from hosting arts and crafts competitions for children, hiring a face painter for the day, organising food banks to donate food to local charities, hosting talks from local community groups and raising money for local charities through various fundraising activity.
Esquires Coffee Ambleside are hosting a ‘guess the picture’ competition with all proceeds going towards the local Brownies.
Esquires Coffee Buckingham are working with local youth charity Project Street Life, hosting face painting and colouring competitions for children; as well as organising a food bank collection.
The two Esquires Coffee houses in Coventry will be working with Coventry Food Bank to encourage customers to bring in food donations or to buy an additional coffee, with the money being donated to Coventry Foodbank.
Esquires Coffee Scarborough have organised a food bank with The Salvation Army, offering customer a discount off coffee for donating.
Esquires Wakefield are hosting a ‘Children’s Day’ on Sunday 11th June with face painting and colouring competitions for kids. All money raised from the day and 5% of the total sales from Sunday will be donated to Wakefield Hospice.
Esquires Durham are collecting food items for Durham Food Bank and are actively encouraging customers to bring in food items such as, tinned soup and vegetables, milk (UHT), pasta sauces and fruit juice to donate. The store will also have a professional face painter instore from 12-3pm, and a balloon modelling entertainer from 1-4pm.
Esquires Doncaster are hosting a talk from their local community support officers, Esquires Sunderland will be doing a ‘book drop and swap’. Esquires Bradford are donating food to the local food bank and also raising money for the victims of the Manchester terror attack.
Esquires Harlow have joined up with St Clare’s Hospice advertising their Midnight Walk on July 1st. Customers who sign up in store to take part in the walk and pay their registration fee will receive a free coffee as a ‘thank you’ from Esquires. Franchise owner Sharon’s fabulous British Bulldog’s are also taking part in the walk and have teamed up with ‘The Only Walk is Essex.’ The store is also hosting a DJ Charity night on 9th June to raise awareness and support the work St.Clare’s hospice do for cancer sufferers.
From 10.30-4pm on Saturday Esquires Sutton will be hosting free face painting, competitions for children and quizzes with great prizes for adults. All money raised on the day will go to the charity Little Eden, a small Sutton based charity ran by a local couple Dawn and Glenn Harvey, who open their garden and swimming pool to children with additional and special needs.
Esquires Lancaster will be hosting a food bank, encouraging customers to provide non-perishable food items, which will be donated to a local homeless shelter. Along with the food bank the store will be doing face painting and games for kids, theatre and improv performances, coffee related quizzes with prizes and hosting live music from local musicians. All money raised from the day will be going to The Alzheimer’s Society.
