The former sales director at Konfidence, a provider of baby swimmming products, has been selected to lead the business through its continued growth period.
Dan’s role will involve leading the expansion of the baby swimming franchise both within its current territories across the UK, Ireland and Australia, and into new countries in the future.
He says: "Having the opportunity to work with such a dynamic business is fantastic. I’ve known Gaby and Caroline for some time, so I knew the next few years were going to be exciting and I wanted to be part of it.
"Ensuring our licensees are running healthy and profitable businesses is paramount to our future growth, as is delivering the best swim programme for babies and toddlers.”
While at Konfidence, Dan helped grow the client base in the UK to include some of the top retailers and swim companies across the country, as well as expand the brand into more than 30 countries.
Dan continues: "I’m looking forward to bringing my skills and industry experience to this new role and am committed to leading the business to achieve its long-term goals.
"First-class support and training for our licensees and teachers, as well as developing strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our industry partners, is, of course, key, but, for me, it is also about instilling a culture within our organisation that fosters all-important creativity, ambition and calculated risk taking."
Commenting on the appointment, Gaby says: "We approached Dan directly about the position because we knew that he would be an asset to the business and had the skills and the determination to help take it to the next level. It was a no-brainer for us."
Caroline adds: "The next few years are going to be very exciting for Turtle Tots and we are thrilled that Dan is going to be part of that journey. Taking the lead and driving the culture of success throughout the business is what Dan does best and we are excited about what the future holds."
Turtle Tots currently has 45 licensees, teaching over 1,400 classes per week.
