Signarama has launched its new Light model, designed to make it easier for prospective franchisees to access the UK's £1billion signage market.

Signarama Light is a low-overhead opportunity where franchisees focus on sales and business development instead of production.

Ideal for anyone looking for a second income, a bolt on to a current portfolio or a more affordable entry point to the industry, the Signarama Light model offers a turnkey solution.

The Light showrooms are fitted out like other Signarama centres but without the production equipment. The footprint is smaller, meaning franchisees pay lower rent and business rates. As production is outsourced to suppliers, the model would suit someone whose strengths lie in sales and customer service.

Aliyyah-Begum Nasser, Signarama UK’s managing director, says: “We wanted to open the opportunity up to a much wider audience.

"The Light franchise package is the ideal way for ambitious franchisees to dip a toe into the lucrative sign market, and it gives them the option to upgrade to a full production franchise as their business grows."
