Premier Education Group has partnered with England Lacrosse, making it the official lacrosse delivery partner to English primary schools.
England Lacrosse is the latest national sporting organisation to form a partnership with Premier. British Gymnastics, British Tennis and England Hockey have previously joined Premier to support its mission to ‘educate and activate the world’ through sport, dance, drama, health and wellbeing programmes.
Premier hopes that the partnership with England Lacrosse will allow them to deliver a new service to schools across the UK.
Jane Hannah, partnerships manager, says: “This agreement offers the opportunity for tens of thousands of kids to try their hand at an activity they may have not tried before, which works perfectly with our inclusive and holistic approach to fitness.”
Premier Education Group is a leading sport and physical activity provider in the UK. It has been established since 1999, building successful franchisees throughout 125 territories in the UK. It works with around 15 per cent of primary and secondary schools in the UK.
Between them, Premier franchisees employ over 1,200 activity professionals, meaning that partnerships offer huge potential for the network to reach even more children, parents and schools. In the last academic year alone, Premier delivered British Gymnastics-endorsed courses to nearly 23,000 children in primary and secondary schools.
In its announcement, England Lacrosse says: “We will be providing training for approved tutors with lacrosse delivery skills and resources to provide their services to activity professionals throughout the country.”
