Driver Hire franchise celebrates top ten listing

Driver Hire is celebrating its listing in the UK’s top ten franchises. It’s come in at number 9 in the hot off the press 2019 Elite Franchise Top 100 list, Britain’s definitive franchise league table

The Top 100 list celebrates the most dynamic, innovative and successful franchises in the UK. It is selected by six franchise industry expert judges and is based on financial performance, network size, franchisee support and the contribution the franchise makes to the local community.

According to the listings Driver Hire is the UK’s leading recruitment franchise. Other famous names in the top ten include fast food outlets McDonalds and Subway along with Snap-on tools, a provider of high end tools to the transportation industry.

Overall the franchise industry continues to thrive and grow*. Its net contribution to the UK economy has grown to £17.2 billion. There are 48,600 franchise units in the UK – an all-time high – which combined provides jobs for 710,000 people.
