X-Press Legal Services celebrates 21 years of success

X-Press Legal Services, which provides searches and reports for conveyancing solicitors, is celebrating its 21st anniversary, as well as over two decades of consistent expansion and success.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Lynne and Dave Lister, the company started out as a kitchen table enterprise. Still owned and managed by the Lister family, X-Press Legal Services now comprises 26 franchises throughout England and Wales.
The head office team in Warrington provide a high level of support for franchise owners with ongoing training and business mentoring.
Lynne says: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 21 years of success and we’re proud of our network of expert franchise owners who have each built their own exceptional franchise business. Many have been with us since we first created the X-Press Legal Services franchise model and we plan to continue welcoming new franchise owners to join the network.”
The network produces over 400,000 searches and reports every year and is relied upon by over 500 legal practices. X-Press Legal Services has also been named as one of the UK’s top 10 search companies.
In 1998, Lynne and Dave pre-empted the industry’s movement towards becoming digitised and this has also played a role in their business success.
X-Press Legal Services uses the latest technology, including an in-house case management system and a bespoke online ordering system, enabling franchise owners to provide high-quality, data-rich reports for their clients at the click of a button.
