Kalamaki Street Greek opens its first franchised store

Following its first site in Covent Garden, Kalamaki Street Greek has opened its first franchisee-run store close to Fulham Broadway underground station.

Four minutes’ walk away from Stamford Bridge, the new store is dedicated to serve the local community and has also adapted its service to accommodate match days at the stadium.

The store offers locals, football fans and visitors a fast-casual dining experience with a theatre-style kitchen; each guest is able to not only create their own meal, but can also watch it being cooked in front of them in the high-tempo, energetic environment around the grill. Customers also have the option to relax in the comfort of the seating area and collect their meal at their leisure.

Open seven days a week with internal seating for up to 30, the store also features a fresh, casual décor with street design elements, offering guests an enhanced brand experience and underpinning Kalamaki’s commitment to providing customers with the delicious tastes of traditional Greek food.

The interior is inspired by the souvlaki joints that are found throughout Greece, but with a modern twist.

Aston Zorro, Kalamaki Street Greek franchisee for West London, says:

Kalamaki Street Greek is operating profitable portfolio stores across London, with targeted new cities for 2020 and four more franchisee-run stores opening in the summer.

Aston adds: “The fact the brand was new to the market but had experienced executives and a robust operations team gave me confidence the support network would be there, and it has been.
