Supporting franchise partners through the Coronavirus crisis
Wiltshire Farm Foods is the UK’s leading home delivery food franchisor; however, its cause is to make a real difference to its customers and community. As a business, Wiltshire Farm Foods go beyond what’s on the plate. All year round, its teams are trusted companions; providing a friendly face and delivering much-needed meals to elderly and vulnerable people in their own home; helping them stay independent.
Wiltshire Farm Foods has a unique role in coping with the Coronavirus crisis. Serving some of the most vulnerable and at-risk people across the UK, its mission, “making a real difference”, has never been more important. Determined to support its customers and team, Wiltshire Farm Foods is going above and beyond to ensure a smooth operation is maintained.
Supporting Franchise Partners
With high volumes of orders, and franchises being hit by varying operational challenges, Wiltshire Farm Foods is actively supporting its franchise partners, working with all outlets to ensure all franchisees are able to maintain a high level of service to their customers.
Wiltshire Farm Foods has been working with its franchise partners to prioritise delivering food to its existing, loyal customers and those who are extremely vulnerable, while putting measures in place to remove pressure from franchise outlets who have been hit the hardest by operational challenges. For example, Wiltshire Farm Foods has redeployed 140 head office staff as necessary across the Wiltshire Farm Foods franchise network to support daily operations. Further to this, additional stocks have been distributed across all its franchise locations to ensure stock resilience throughout the UK.
Protecting our customers
As the country gets to grips with Coronavirus, Wiltshire Farm Foods is making every effort to operate as normal and maintain a high level of service, while doing everything it can to protect its customers.
Wiltshire Farm Foods has set up a priority phone line for those identified as extremely vulnerable by the NHS in England. This priority phone line gives both new and existing vulnerable customers priority access to Wiltshire Farm Foods meals, alleviating any challenges these individuals may have otherwise faced in accessing nutritious food.
Protecting its customers and its team remains Wiltshire Farm Foods’ top priority, which is why many deliveries are now being made contact-free. However, Wiltshire Farm Foods understand the considerable impact no-contact deliveries may have on many of its customers. As Wiltshire Farm Foods’ commitment to providing good old-fashioned service remains as important as ever, any customers still requiring assistance from the driver to put the meals in the freezer, will continue to receive this, with drivers maintaining the advised 2-metre distance where possible.
Wiltshire Farm Foods is very proud of the food and service it provides its customers and strives to continue supporting its customers and franchise partners in any way it can.
