Boutique fitness concept, TRIB3, continues to encourage its community ethos outside of the studio by raising over £1,500 for the country’s leading elderly charity, Age UK, through a charity workout to support those most vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the theme ‘Sweat for a Cause’, fitness fans across the country gathered together for the virtual charity workout via Instagram live. The initiative, which lasted for a total of three hours saw over 120 people sweat it out in their homes as they followed the lead of nine members of TRIB3’s UK & Spanish coaching team. Ranging from a mobility warm-up to pulse-raising HIIT routines, special fitness challenges and even a dance workout, TRIB3’s coaches led the way through 12 rounds of exercises, all in aid of one incredible cause.
As one of the UK’s leading charities, Age UK provides services and support at a national and local level to inspire and enable the older generations. Whether it is funding ground-breaking research, offering expert information and advice or providing crucial friendship services, Age UK acts as a voice for the over 60s, who are the fastest-growing age group within the UK. The funds raised by the boutique fitness group for Age UK will enable them to keep doing this vital work to support the elderly, who are one of the most vulnerable and isolated groups affected by COVID-19.
Kirsty Angove, Chief Marketing Officer at TRIB3, commented:
“Communities need to come together now more than ever, and it’s no different for us here at TRIB3, as community remains at the heart of everything we do. We’re overwhelmed by the incredible turnout for the charity workout and so proud of our coaching team and everyone who joined us for their efforts on the day. All of us are so pleased to be able to raise funds for a charity that supports our older generation, particularly in these difficult times. We are strongest together.”
TRIB3 is a global collective of boutique workout studios, offering the ultimate group HIIT workout underpinned by digital and performance monitoring.
