Home Instead franchise

Home Instead Senior Care has selected five reasons why its franchise opportunity stands out, as it announces there are 120 territories available, including four resales.

  1. Home Instead offers the freedom to choose how you want to work
As a Home Instead franchisee, you are your own boss, and how you run your office day to day is up to you. You set your own hours and you hire your own team – the 45-strong team at the national office is simply there to support you along the way. Home Instead offers a robust franchise model that delivers return on investment.
  2. Home Instead offers a strong financial model
The Home Instead Senior Care franchise has proven longevity; it has been operating in the UK for the last 12 years. Many of its franchises are turning over in excess of £1million per year with operating profits of 15 to 20 per cent. The business model predicts breakeven at months 12 to 14.
  3. Home Instead has royal recognition
Home Instead received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of the innovation its franchise model has brought to the care sector, becoming the first homecare provider to receive the honour. It was also awarded an inaugural Princess Royal Training Award for its outstanding training and skills development programmes.
  4. Home Instead offers industry leading support
From day one, Home Instead’s franchisees are introduced to their dedicated business support manager and care support manager. The comprehensive support package includes week-long new owner training, as well as two further training courses, each two days long, at 90 and 180 days in. Franchisees receive support on everything from HR to PR.
  5. Finance or food – your background doesn’t matter
As a management franchise opportunity, Home Instead looks for the right qualities in its franchisees, so experience in the care sector isn’t necessary. The most successful franchisees come from many different sectors such as finance, retail and hospitality, but they all share the drive to build their business, be a local leader and deliver high quality homecare.
