Rishi Sunak congratulates Radfield Home Care Franchise

A Radfield Home Care franchise was praised during Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs) on June 14, 2023 after MP Sally-Ann Hart visited the award-winning Radfield Home Care Bexhill, Hastings & Battle office.

The office is rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and recently won the national Home Care Award for Nutrition & Hydration.

Mrs Hart, MP for Hastings & Rye, commended the local office for being rated as Outstanding and for winning a national award.

Samuel Holmes, Director said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Sally-Ann Hart MP, and we’re delighted that she visited us to recognise the care, compassion and dedication of our team.”

“We also welcomed the opportunity to discuss important issues in the health and social care sector, together with wider issues impacting our team in the local community. The majority of our staff are Sally-Ann Hart’s constituents, and it was very encouraging for her to make herself available and listen to them”.

Following her visit, Sally-Ann Hart MP, said:

“Carers provide a valuable and much-needed service in fulfilling the wish for so many to remain in their homes.   I am aware of the current difficulties in the social care sector and am always willing to listen to those on the ground and hear about their suggestions. The company has recently been rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission as well as winning an award at the Home Care Awards. These awards are testament to the dedication, compassion and hard work of the team. I am really proud that one of our local businesses has received a national award in this sector."

During PMQs, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak echoed Mrs Hart, he said: “I join my honourable friend in congratulating carers in her constituency for all their awards, I’m also incredibly proud of our health and care staff across the country and recognise their extraordinary commitment.”

Radfield Home Care was also named as the Most Outstanding Home Care Franchise Network and Home Group at the Home Care Awards 2023. This followed the network being named as a top 20 Home Care Group for the fifth consecutive year by Homecare.co.uk.

Hundreds of people took the opportunity to meet the Radfield Home Care national office team when they attended the British & International Franchise Exhibition 2023 at Olympia London on 9th & 10th June. 

Radfield co-founder, Alex took to the main stage for a panel discussion on “What to expect from your franchisor”. He added: “The most important driver of success for a franchisee is stability in the home followed by the passion they have for the brand and the leadership they show in bringing that passion to life with their team.”
